Reducing the water content of crude oil is a necessary step in preparing for transportation and processing. This task complicated by presence stable water-in-oil emulsions. The most widely used approach to demulsification exploring chemical demulsifiers. However, high cost impossibility regenerating latter require search new ways destroy water-oil One promising areas use ultrasound. paper presents results studies on ultrasonic treatment four samples emulsions with different (8.74; 15; 25 30 vol.%) based from Kumkol oilfield (Kazakhstan).
